Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, AlUla, Riyadh

Saudi Arabia flights for Hajj, Umrah and the new tourism routes.

Hajj is the anchor: millions of Muslim pilgrims move through Saudi Arabia in a concentrated season every year. This guide starts with the sacred travel corridor, then adds the places Saudi is opening and promoting for wider tourism.

Flight planner

Choose by purpose first.

Filter the list by Hajj, Umrah, pilgrimage logistics or tourism. The main airports are JED for Makkah/Jeddah, MED for Madinah, RUH for Riyadh and ULH or MED/JED connections for AlUla.

9 Saudi Arabia flight anchors

Cards link to official planning pages first, then flights, stays, cars and maps. Hajj and Umrah rules change by season, nationality, quota, health requirement and permit route, so official platforms matter more here than on ordinary city pages.

Pilgrim notes

Plan the sacred journey separately from ordinary tourism.

Hajj

Use official Hajj channels and authorized packages. Registration or a flight search alone is not acceptance for Hajj.

Umrah

Umrah planning can be more flexible outside Hajj season, but permits, visas, health rules and package requirements still need checking.

Movement

The Haramain High Speed Railway links Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah and King Abdulaziz International Airport, and is especially important during peak periods.

Tourism

Saudi's tourism push is real: AlUla, Diriyah, Jeddah, Riyadh and Red Sea resorts now deserve separate flight planning beyond pilgrimage.

Official links

Use these before paying.

Saudi entry, access and pilgrimage systems are formal. Treat these as the source of truth before booking flights, stays or ground transport.
